Books we’re reading: I’m (Hannah) reading Mrs Caliban by Rachel Ingalls, on recommendation from Bill Nighy’s podcast Ill-Advised. He always reads a few paragraphs of a book he’s recommended and it pulls me in immediately. He’s good at reading aloud. It’s a novella and I recommend it for an interesting read-it-in-an-afternoon kinda book. Mrs. Caliban is about a lonely housewife in the early 80s who has an affair with a half man-half frog creature who has escaped from a research facility where he was being studied and held against his will.

Chris is reading a book about rituals, aptly called Ritual. It’s by Dimitris Xygalatas. See synopsis below.

Steve just finished The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway, and is now starting Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.

I’m also still reading The Devil in White City and House of the Spirits, too, because ADHD. 🤣
